Jack lost his first tooth! It was getting fairly loose, and Jordon suggested he allow him to pull it after brushing since it was so close. Jack was VERY excited. We put it in a teeny tiny baggie and he carried it everywhere.
We took a trip to Corvallis to visit Trader Joe's and stock up on some gluten- free foods*, then met Jake at The Book Bin on his break. Jack and Charli got journals. We are going to try to write in them most nights before bedtime. Jack has been writing a lot before bed, so this started as a way to limit how long he spends writing (i.e. putting off going to sleep) but I am excited to have a little record of life as they see it :)
*We suspect that Jack may have a gluten intolerance. Huge bummer, and expensive, but so far we are loving seeing our little man with energy again, color in his face, gaining weight, and an appetite. Everett got a surprise in the mail (thank you Grandma and Poppi!)
We got to face time with the Bellenghis to tell them Jack's news!
I love taking screenshots when we FaceTime :)
And this is when I told them we were driving up to visit the next day...
First entry in Jack's journal : asking the tooth fairy to let him keep his tooth!
